    <description>There are a couple of events generated but they're informational ones unlike the outage which is critical. &lt;BR /&gt;If you click on a server name in HPSIM you can drill down and see events specific to that server. So if you've recently rebooted a server you should see the evens generated when it comes back up.&lt;BR /&gt;From memory there are a couple generated.</description>

      <description>A challenge has been propsed to me.  We use SIM to monitor, amongst other things, when a server goes down.  This works great.  One thing I would like to implement is a notification of when that server comes back up.  I can't seem to find this any where when I add an event.  This seems like a reasonably simple request, so if anyone has any feedback or can point me to a wiki or how to manual, I would appreciate that...</description>

      <description>I set up a separate event to send me an e-mail when the servers are reachable. When you set up the task, at the Events drop down box, just select: event type is Systems Insight Manager Events and type name is System is reachable.  This has worked like a charm for me!</description>
