    <description>I think you need a ".wmi" script like this one :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.microsoft.com/technet/scriptcenter/scripts/default.mspx?mfr=true" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.microsoft.com/technet/scriptcenter/scripts/default.mspx?mfr=true&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Script Center Home &amp;gt; Script Repository &amp;gt; Hardware &amp;gt; Basic Hardware and Firmware&lt;BR /&gt;Retrieving Computer Fan Information&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This one retrieves fan-information, you need to adres the right object for the cpu-temperature (could be multiple!)</description>

      <description>Is there any way of getting the current CPU temperature other than via Insight Diagnostics?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i.e. I'm developing a software programme that needs to be able to read the cpu temperature at anytime.</description>
