Restarting HPSIM did work thanks, it would be nice if I knew the reason or SIM would time out after say a few hours. Thanks.

Initial Support Pack Install Running: 0% for 2 days?

HP SIM 5.1 SP1 trying to deploy an initial support pack install (8.10A) to a Windows Server 2003 Web Edition machine. In Task Results the install status has been "Running: 0%) for almost 2 days now with no indication of error in the Stderr. I am also seemingly unable to stop the task, when I click Stop and say ok then choose delete it complains that the task is still running and should be stopped first...how can I correctly end this task and furthermore see why it is not running to completion?

I've seen HPSIM get hung up on tasks before.
I've had to resort to stopping / restarting the HPSIM Service.

It's not something I've seen in HPSIM 5.2, so you may want to consider upgrading.

I plan on upgrading soon, I am working in our DR environment first to make sure things are functioning like I want before I move onto the Production environment.

Thanks,

Mike
