We want to install 5.2 on a new server running Win2003 ENT and retain our group configurations and dicovery data from our 5.1 install running on Win2003 Standard. We are using a remote SQL 2005 database.
Are there procedures for connecting to the old instance of the database or do we need to restore the data after install?
If I enter the old instance on the install will we lose the data in the current database?
