You can add the names to the C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file and then delete/rediscover the devices.

Hello!

after migrating CIM to SIM I have also certain problems with IP addresses instead of names. Is there a chance to add the names directly in the SQL - database ? Did anyone tried this before ??

If you change the IPs to names in the database, they will change right back the next time the discover goes. The reason for IP is because you are having DNS problems resolving the names.
