OpenSSH Server - Service Account

Hi all,

i just installed the ssh on some servers. Unfortunately it uses the user i am logged on with. I created a new service account for the ssh server service. Can i easily change it for all servers or do i change it via windows services to the new account on every server?

Does someone know, which privileges this service account needs?

hi sebastian,

you should be able to change it by using the options --> protocol settings --> system protocol settings and checking the ssh checkbox

the install ssh page has this in the notes :-

"Note that this account must be a direct member of the 'Administrators' group on the target system; the account will automatically be added to this group if needed."
