    <description>i have stored the mibs in the dir where i have installed SIM\mibs.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The mibs are Files , i get in the web page ,not ftp. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;how i have stored the mibs in the mibs dir , i do not have to use the "mcompile -d" , only "mcompile file.mib"&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>I need to compile Oracle´s mibs , when execute the command , i have the next error&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;C:\Documents and Settings\hpinsight&amp;gt;mcompile oradb-mib.mib&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HP Systems Insight Manager Mib Compiler, Version 5.0.2.1&lt;BR /&gt;Copyright (c) 2003-2006 Hewlett Packard Corporation&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Compiling oradb-mib.mib&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Line: 0: Failure to open input file oradb-mib.mib&lt;BR /&gt;Mib compilation failed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;For all oracle´s mib i have the same error</description>

      <description>forgive the question but you do have the mib files in "C:\Documents and Settings\hpinsight" as you have'nt used -d ?&lt;BR /&gt;how did you get the mibs onto the system, a formatting problem caused by ftp perhaps ?</description>

      <description>There's no reason to compile this into HP SIM; this MIB has no trap definitions, so even if you were to compile it, it would have no function.</description>

      <description>There's no reason to add this MIB to HP SIM.  There are no trap definitions in this MIB.  HP SIM only uses MIBs for trap translation.  This MIB is useless for HP SIM purposes.</description>
