SIM-RDP synchronization after IP change

Have SIM 5.2 and RDP 3.81 running on same box just fine. Then move box to new network, and now the SIM option to synchronize with the deployment server still uses the old IP address.

How do I get SIM to use the new IP address?

first solution :
You would need to modify a few files here :
C:\Program Files\HP\Systems Insight Manager\hpwebadmin\webapps\ROOT\mxportal\dobby

edit the different xml files to update the IP address of te RDP server and then restart the HP SIM service that should do the trick I think.

Files to be modified :
console-tool.xml
scan.xml
schedule-tool.xml

If this doesn't work ;-) 'Errarum humanun es'

then you will need to use the mxtool command to modify these xml files :

2nd Solution :
simply reinstall the RDP integration package.
1/copy the package on to the HP SIM server or locate it from the RDP or ICE DVD
2/launch the setup and fill the new IP address when asked.
