1. There are no configurable agents on the device
...Try logging into the web page for that server and see if you can get access. Then check the left hand side to see if it's running the Version Control Agent service.
Version 5.20 and earlier did not contain VCAs.

2. The agent does not trust the Insight Manager 7 server, establish a trust relationship.
...This one is pretty obvious. And this is usually the main reason why Group Config commands don't work. I would actually tackle this problem first. There are a couple of ways to establish trust. Log in to the target server's web page and check under the Settings tab...then the Options link at the bottom. Scroll down until you see the three Trust modes (Trust All, Trust by Name and Trust by Certificate). Make sure one of those is chosen. If you choose Trust by Certificate then you have to get the IM7 server certificate. And there is a field on that same page where you can "Get Certificate" and then "Add Certificate".
Good luck,
Ed Cox

I have created a group configuration task to change the VCRM server name and set the password, once I execute task for the selected servers, by looking at the log file it shows â agent configured successfullyâ for most of the servers, but some of the servers received the following error messages:
1. There are no configurable agents on the device.
2. The agent does not trust the Insight Manager 7 server, establish a trust relationship.

Thanks,
M
