    <description>Thanks for the advice.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I understand that i need to open cetrain ports to allow traffic too and from the remote servers. Do i need to do anything on them servers and to add them do i do a manual discover and use the public IP addresses?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;many thanks&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;we are a small IT services company and have a number of clients we provide IT support for. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;we log on to the servers via RDP but currently have not got VPN's set up&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;what do i need to do to monitor these servers using HP SIM?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks in advanced</description>

      <description>hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  you can set sim to use system name, ip address or dns system name if required. the difficulty you have is initially getting public keys/certificates into the managed system over an insecure link , unless you have another means to do this i.e sftp etc.&lt;BR /&gt;do please read the guide it discusses the merits / demerits of all the options.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
