      <title>Firewall ports</title>

      <description>I submitted a form to our network department to open firewall ports for the following TCP/IP ports. They did not open corresponding UDP ports so I'm not sure if thats part of the problem. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;2301&lt;BR /&gt;2381&lt;BR /&gt;5988&lt;BR /&gt;5989&lt;BR /&gt;22&lt;BR /&gt;161&lt;BR /&gt;80&lt;BR /&gt;ICMP Ping Discovery (not sure what port this is) &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I can see the servers on the other side of the firewall in SIM but they don't have any information about them. They show as Unmanaaged. I verifed the SNMP name and permissions and that SNMP is running. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What I'm really concerned about is the ports themselves. I've read different forums saying which ports should be opened or not and right now I'm not certain. Any help would be appreciated. &lt;BR /&gt;</description>
