topic p-class blade iLO associate in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

I have couple p-class bl20p blade's running ESX3.5. SIM 5.2.2 hasn't associated the ilo + blade correctly thus the p-class enclosure view's are not correct. The manual states the following:

"How do I associate an iLO with a server?
Solution: To associate an iLO with a server, The Level of Data Returned must be set to Enabled> on the
iLO itself. See “System license information reporting” for more information."

The "Level of Data Returned" is enabled. Any ideas, how to fix the association?

-MiikaT

I take you have discovered both the server and the ilo seperately.

You will need to install the HP agents for ESX and this should solve you problem

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=3709945&prodSeriesId=1842753&prodNameId=3288152&swEnvOID=4025&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-7324eb54248d41b9a356236889

steven

Steven,

Agents 8.11 are installed. I have six hosts, two bl20p g4 and four bl460c g1. The bl460c are associated ok, but the problem is with the bl20p blade's. Both of them are in different enclosured. SIM does discover both blades and ilo's individually.

-MiikaT
