Surely can do that..

While selecting the components in the install software/firmware task just select only the required components and install on the target servers.

regards
Sins

Hallo,
have you installed and use VCRM at the HPSIM -Server and on the clients VCA?
Then you can create in VCRM your own PSP and install this with HPSIM on your client Servers

Installing the entire PSP is the recommended approach. This is because it's a tested bundle.
Also there can be issues when the Agents / Drivers are from different PSPs.
I only install separate components if I'm trying to resolve a specific issue. Otherwise I stay with the entire PSP.
Just my 2c worth.

Fabrizio Maggioni,

When you add PSP into VCRM, & browse to VCRM's "catalog" page.

you can see components are grouped based on

1) server or storage
2) operating system
3) category e.g "Utility - Tools", "Software - System Management", "Driver - Network" etc.

4) create a CSB & select only components fall under "Software - System Management"

Hope this is what you are looking for.

Fabrizio,
You may want to point out to the customer that just installing the agents can also cause problems.
They work best in conjunction with the drivers in the package.
If there are issues, the first thing you'll be requested to do is update the entire PSP package.
