Hi,
The procedure in the doc is
Select Options->System Properties->Set System Properties.
Select target systems.
Click Next.
Under Product Description, select the properties you want to configure. The properties include Asset Information and Contract information

The Asset Tag can also be entered into the BIOS of the Server itself. You need to shut down the server to do that. HPSIM will then pick that up.
As it's in the BIOS it is a good way of tracking servers, mainly because if the name changes or you delete & rediscover it from HPSIM you again pick up the tag.
