topic Integrate PowerChute with SIM in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

In the past, it was possible to "integrate" PowerChute into Compaq Insight Manager and Insight Manager 7. I looked around for some info on this, but I didn't find it.

We are now running PowerChute Business Edition, so it is Web Based. My guess is there's a setting in SIM to have it check for a web server running on port: 3052

Any ideas?

You can add additional ports to discover web servers on in the AdditionalWSdisc.prop file. It's pretty self explanatory (the top of the file explains the format) and further information can be found in the StorageWorks Command View integration paper because you have to do something similar.
