      <description>Xperts, &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What are the options to calcuate the Power that is consumed by a server. Can we use SIM for calculating the power options. If so where and how.. Provide me if any documents available for SIM.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;My SIM was shipped along with my Storage Essentials and I would like to use SIM for calcuating the power consumption for the servers.</description>

      <description>the only way I know of is with insight power manager and it's about 100 bucks a server to calculate the power</description>

      <description>Not that I'm aware of. The way we've got an idea of power usage is to replace the older Rack PDUs we had with those that have a readout on them. We can then have a look at the power consumption of the rack itself.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What's the reason behind wanting the power usage figures?</description>
