topic Software Column shows (i) on VM Sessions, Switches in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

Does anyone know how to get the SW column to stop showing the (i) for nodes that do not have a SW status? I'd like to to be blank, just like the management processor.

Some are switches, some are VM Sessions.

I believe this is just how the product works and it cannot be configured otherwise (without HP re-coding it). But I agree, I wish it would just leave the column blank.

Nelson
This is by design so that HP SIM Version Control can be expanded to cover these platforms in the future (don't get excited, this isn't a pre-annoucement).

You can customize your views so that the SW column isn't even shown on your "All Switches" or "All Virtual Machines" view if you want.

David,

I'd do that except for the fact that I'm trying to get our Routers, Servers, and UPSes (that's the tough part, can't figure out the MIB thing and we currently have SNMP locked down on the APC's) into SIM. That way we can search for a site and have it show what is down.
