There is no "automatically find" without Discovery.<BR /><BR />Discovery comes in several forms: Automatic Discovery which is a ping sweep of a range or subnet. This can be scheduled or run on demand. You also can set HP SIM to perform discovery of a unit on receipt of an event. Many organizations put into their build process a final step to send an SNMP test trap to HP SIM so it is discovered when put into service.
