SIM5.3 add/delete client problem

On a 11.31 rx system, the SIM application no longer able to add new (or delete old) clients either via the GUI or CLI (mxnode -a). No obvious error msgs are received from either. GUI finishes (or times out) after approx. 30 mins. CLI says it was successful (Node has been added/modified:), but client does not get added.

buried in mx.log there is this...
