Upgrade SIM 5.1 to 5.3

Is there an upgrade path from 5.1 to 5.3. In our environment SIM is installed on Windows 2003 server and using a 2000 MSDE database.

I read a post where it said for 5.3 you need SQL 2005.

If I run setup...will it automatically upgrade the database. I want to do an inplace upgrade. Thanks in advance.

it wil upgrade your MSDE database to SQLExpress 2k5.just try it.
