Hi, I have installed HP SIM 5.2
How can I configure the manged systems from SIM server. When I configure the managed systems from SIM server , the manged systems will rboot or not? I want to configure the nonHP servers also in SIM. Also I want to set the Firmware and Patch (HP And microsoft ) alerts when the managed system firmware is old.
Please help me to solve this.

also I want to install the softwares and firmware from the SIM server. If any server is in the network with old firmware I shud get the mail alerts.
I want to configure these settings . Pls help me

for deploying software and firmware thru you will need VCRM:

. its free.

Then you need to use deploy menu of sim which will tell u how to configure your repository to update that.
