nothing shows on a SMH

i have a vm guest server but when i open the system amangement home page it is empty, i have tried to change the data source to SNMP but there is no task option.

is this due to it being a vmware guest and can i get the home page to show detail? or will it always be blank

Hi,

For the SMH homepage to show the agents details, you need to install all the agents.
But, installing the agents is not supported on VM, only on physical servers.

SMH is the only component supported for installation on VM guest.
