We have an Adaptec Ultra160 SCSI card (39160) installed with the latest driver (ADPU160M.SYS).

The VCA is seeing this as "HP ProLiant 64-Bit/66-Mhz Dual Channel Wide Ultra3 SCSI Controller Driver for Windows Server 2003".

I've tried deleting the discovery folder "C:\hp\hpsmh\data\cgi-bin\vcagent\Discovery" but this hasn't removed the incorrect inventory.

Can this be removed from the VCA Page in any way?

John1967,

Inventory Discription might be coming from component present in repository.

if you have a Latest or Supportpack version displayed in VCA for this component. check that component discriptions.
