    <description>Check the SNMP settings on the HP SIM Server itself.&lt;BR /&gt;It needs to have itself as an allowed host, and the trap destination needs to be set. Just like for any remote server.</description>

      <description>I used SIM to manage all of my servers and it works well include CMS itself. &lt;BR /&gt;All The events for SIM I can see are sign in and sign out, no other things. also If I use CMS's smh sending a test trap, it also not appear in the sim's events list. anyone have some idea about this? thanks.</description>

      <description>Thanks for your response. I just checked the snamp setting on CMS. It allow to receive all snmp packets from any hosts.and the trap destination is set to the hostname itself.</description>
