No option to specific SQL login type during installation

All,

Is there a way to change the sql login type from using windows to sql during the initial installation? I ran setup and failed during the database creation because it uses the Windows login name.

Hello

HP SIM uses only Windows authentication with SQL Server or MSDE.

The strange thing is that I could run the query analyzer on the server using windows authentication but when HPsim tried to use the Windows login to create the database, it failed. The log shown domain\username login failed.

What kind is that user,Domain user or DomainAdmin?

Are you have localy database or remotely?

hi,
you have too less rightÂ´s on the sql-server (not in windows). put databasecreator to your sqllogin. if there is the same failur put system administrator to your login.
