    <description>I am running SIM 5.3.1 SP1 monitoring TRU64.  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have a server that continues to send 6060 spam, making it difficult to collect valied alerts, and filling up my database.  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Does any know how to stop that snmp traffic, either on the config file or some place else.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have the insight stop until i find a way to stop the info 6060 alerts.  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for any help on this.. //</description>

      <description>You can disable the handling of this type of SNMP trap:&lt;BR /&gt;1) click on one of the alerts&lt;BR /&gt;2) scroll all the way down to "Mib Information" and note the MIB file name and identifier&lt;BR /&gt;3) got to Options-&amp;gt;Events-&amp;gt;SNMP Trap Settings&lt;BR /&gt;4) select the appropiate trap and set "Enable Trap Handling" to "No"</description>
