How to collect Inventory Details of MSA2000 storage in HP SIM

Hi

I have configured HP SIM to collect SNMP traps of MSA2000 storage.

When I try to generate report for MSA2000 inventory details(that is Serial No, Firware, Disk drive details, etc) , SIM doesnot fetch any inventory details.

But in the user manual (HP SIM Technical Reference Guide) it is mentioned that SIM can collect all inventory details for HP storage.

Is there any way to collect the inventory details of MSA2000 storage in HP SIM ?

You can use SMI-S Proxy provider, if you have the fibre channel based MSA. The proxy provider communicates with the MSA2000fc and HPSIM can discover some basic information via WBEM.

Thanks for the reply & doc link

I have MSA2000fc G1 (that is msa2012fc).

I downloaded SMI-S proxy provider for MSA2000fc G2 (I got only G2 installer from internet) & installed the same.
Using Proxy Setting Manager i added my MSA2000 to CIMserver.

And still i could not able to fetch the inventory details of MSA2000 in SIM

is there any other way to achieve the above.

Hi

I tried mxreport too.
Still iam not able to achieve to collect the MSA2000fc G1 inventory details in HP SIM.

Can anyone get me the link for SMI-S proxy provider for MSA2000fc G1
(I have SMI-S proxy provider for MSA2000fc G2, but its doc mentioned that this doesnot support MSA2000fc G1)

Or is there any other way ?
pls let me know.
