SSH authentication issue

Hi,

I recently installed open SSH on my HPSIM 4.0 server (W2K3) and 1 windows 2003 server. When I try to run a task using the HPSIM DTF I get the following error :
"EXCEPTION CLASS: com.hp.mx.exceptions.MxFailedAuthenticationException
EXCEPTION: Authentication failed."

The task I was trying to run was "dir c:\"

I can connect to the servers using a 3rd party SSH client and using the ssh command. I also went through all the troubleshooting steps from the "Secure Shell (SSH) in HP Systems Insight Manager" document.

Does anyone know what I am missing? I am running the task using the same user as the one specified in the passewd file and the same user that works using any SSH client.

In the README file there are additional steps required for WS03.

Yes, I have done those steps. They are also outlined in the appendix of the SSH white paper.

Im thinking it might be the .DTFSSHkey file since its dated from the installation and OpenSSH was reinstalled afterwards.

Is there a way to regenerate that file and the pub file?
