Hello,
I like to setup an Vision Control Agent Trustrelationship between my Insight Manager and my Vision Control Agent. Therefor I open the Managment Homepage from the relevant Server. Then i click on Vision Control Agent after this i get the following Error Messages
" VCA1088684251 - The Version Control Agent encountered an error while obtaining the software and firmware inventory" , " For this Command is not enough Memory available - An error occurred while performing an operating system specific operation." The Problem allways exists, i doesn´t depend if i try it over the Insight System manager or the Server self. Anybody gots an idea? The server has 256 MB memory.

Thank you.
Stef

Stef,
A couple of things to check.
1. Do you have anything in your Version Control Repository?
2. Check to make sure your Administrator WEB based password that the VCA uses is correct.
3. Make sure you are using version 2.0 of the VCA.
Ed

Stef,
When you are logged into the VCA area of the webpage...there is a Help hyperlink at the top right of the page. It should show the version number there.
Also,
Copy a Proliant Support pack into the VCR repository directory so that the VCA has something from which to get inventory status. You can also include OnLine ROM flash components in the repository as well. Did I read your post right that you have yet to install the Version Control repository program?
If you've done a typical SIM install, it will be installed as part of that. Custom installs won't necessarily have the VCR installed if you didn't choose it.
Also...verify that the VCR service points to a parent directory (usually c:\repository).
Ed
