I have seen these symptoms many times.
The timeouts could be caused by the VCA (Version Control Agent). Make sure that the VCA installed is at least 2.2.2.835 (PSP 8.30 VCA is 2.2.1.830)

Hth,
Pierre-Marie

A couple of months ago I did a fresh install of HPSIM. Since then Iâ ve been getting very inconsistent installs or upgrades on the support packs on the servers. Enclosed is an attachment of two servers. Iâ ve been on and off working on this for the last couple of weeks and am at the at the point of throwing in the towel.
Any Ideas??????
Are you using SIM to push the PSP?
Try using HPSUM (PSP) manualy to install from the same repository that HP SIM is using to deploy the PSP. If you get the same results, then it is a PSP issue.
Also, as a general rule, do not update the PSP on the HP SIM server itself.

I looked at your attachments and I have seen this on several occasions in our environment. In most cases the incomplete view has been caused by a timeout loading the page and has been cleared by doing a reboot.

Can you provide more details.
Are the time outs only happening when HP SIM is invovled?
What happens if you go directly to the SMH on one of the servers and update the PSP through the VCA interface?
