Insight manager 3.5

I am having an issue where a system was accidently deleted from insight manager and we wish to see who deleted it. there was an issue with this server and now since it was deleted all historical events are gone too is there any way we can find this data and can we turn logging on somehow to see who did what in insight.

go to tasks and logs
view HP system insight manager audit log
search for delete.

you will need to increase the entries to include the time you think is was deleted

to get the information back you will probably need to get the database back from backup.

Thanks for the info But i do not see an option to for Deleted all i can do in the Audil log is see all entries by line and can search through thousands of lines for the info i went through 100000 lines still in the same day to no avail.

make sure you search for delete and not deleted.

you will find nothing with deleted.

try opening C:\Program Files\HP\Systems Insight Manager\logs\mx.log and searching for delete.

there are mx.log.old files as well
