Hello there, this is my first post on this forum so please be patient...i am currently in the process of integrating hpsim4.1 in to CA Unicenter environment using the cpqtnd31 integration tools. I am having a couple of issues and was wondering if anyone has any ideas or come across similar problems:
1. Is it possible to install hpsim41 onto the same server as unicenter? i have tried numerous times (stopping all sorts of services) but have had no luck so far. The installation bombs out midway through
2. Is it possible to stop hpsim41 polling machines as we want the unicenter one to be doing the polling only?

Thanks in advance

Please check you SQL server default collation sequence. HP SIM 4.1 requires SQL_Latin1_CP1_CI_AS. I believe that CA Unicenter specifies a case sensitive collation sequence. You would need to create another instance of SQL 2000 using the default collation sequence for the SIM database.
