      <description>Hello. I am new to SIM and set up on a windows environment using an admin account. I have since changed my admin account password and sinc ethen the SIM has stopped working. Is there some reference to my old credentials in the system and if so, how can I change it? Thanks in advance</description>

      <description>Take a quick look at this:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://h10018.www1.hp.com/wwsolutions/misc/hpsim-helpfiles/hpsim_5_changing_the_SystemName.pdf" target="_blank"&gt;http://h10018.www1.hp.com/wwsolutions/misc/hpsim-helpfiles/hpsim_5_changing_the_SystemName.pdf&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Essentially, you need to do the following:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;mxpassword â  g&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Modify MxDBUserPassword to reflect your current password. Also make sure to change the password in the services snap-in (start &amp;gt; run &amp;gt; services.msc &amp;gt; sort by "logon as" and select all services that use your admin account) &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;With that being said, you're probably better off creating a service account to run these services, rather than using your own account to do so. If your security policy permits it, set that service account's password to never expire.</description>
