    <description>Hi all&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Strage problem.  sometimes SIM is dropping the SMH as a management protcol.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;After rte-discovery it's there, but will go again after a few weeks.  Puzzled? me to.  can anyone help?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Using HP SIM 5.3 with hotfix 2,3,4,5,6,7,8</description>

      <description>&lt;BR /&gt;Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;we have the same problem here, no changes were made in between.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SIM version 5.3 SP1 updates 3-8&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Anybody any suggestion?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;kind regards&lt;BR /&gt;Markus</description>

      <description>Try and determine when it disappears. At a guess there's a weekly Device Identification job running. I've seen this run into conflicts with other jobs and cause similar issues. try disabling this task and see if the issues go away.&lt;BR /&gt;It could possibly be conflicting with a bi-weekly task.</description>
