HP SIM 6 on Windows 7

Hello,

I am currently trying to instal SIM 6 on a Windows 7 Pro machine and I get the message system halted must be 2003, 2008, vista or higher. The documentation does say windows 7. Am I missing something?

not really sure but hpsim is mainly for server platforms i never think of installing on desktop. but if they say it should install on win7 it should.

don't know for sure : just taking a guess.. maybe something to do with firewall settings. the latest generation of windows does seem to have some very strict security settings

it says win7 pro or enterprise for the CMS : you are correct :-)

BUT...
on the HP SIM web site :
the quick specs link says the contrary :
http://h18013.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/11824_div/11824_div.html

So there must of them whose wrong and it seems to be the IS 6.0 support matrix...

I will try to check internally.

I have same problem.
And in Quic Spec that is referenced upper Windows 7 Pro or Ent is supported for SIM.
