Using HP Sim to monitor remote (client) equipment

Hello,

I'm thinking about using HP SIM to monitor remote equipment of our clients.

There are a few things to think about :
- The equipment will be in other domains
- It will not be able to use VPN on every location.
Can HP SIM transmit it's data over HTTPS and then configure IP-access only for the clients?

Any ideas, suggestions, etc... are welcome :-)

Yes That is one the main feature in terms of security for HP SIM.
2/configure IP-access only for the clients?
When installing the agents on a managed device (a server), the package comes with the SMH : the system management homepage : A web page where all HW info are gathered and displayed. The access to this page can be limited by user account, ip binding, etc...
