topic No Data Source in SMH in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

Hi,

I'm having trouble getting a couple servers to play nice in HP SIM. The server isn't full integrated and the SMH is coming up with very little info. At first I thought WBEM was enabled, but I look and see the Data Source is showing blank. All the agents and services seem to be in order. I tried doing a "replicate agent settings" from another working SNMP system but this didn't help either. What am I missing?

After running an ID task you should be able to drill down onto the server and see what protocols have been discovered. You should also be able to look at the credentials used (Tools Tab and Edit Credentials from clicking on the server name).
It can also depend on whether the SW on that server has up to date wbem on it.
