So I checked HP SIM and I see that there the warning threshold for cpu/memory/system temperature sensors is set to 95 degrees C.<BR /><BR />I checked the AMD website and there it lists a max Tcase value of ca 71-77 degrees depending on the opteron model.<BR /><BR />Tcase is the temperature on top of the CPU so the temperature sensors probably measure something different.<BR /><BR />But a warning threshold of 95 degrees sounds too high.<BR /><BR />Can anybody explain this ? Or maybe somebody has a link to a document explaining this ?
