How to backup customized report template?

Can I just backup the SIM data file to do so?

Is there any way to back them up by exporting to XML or whatever format file? If so, how to restore them?

Hi Daniel,
As per my knowledge, custom reports are not stroed on file system base.
These are stored in Table- hpmxReport which can be found in SIM Database.
I'm using SQL 2005 on remote machine and can see my reports available here.
Backing up same should work out for you.

You can backup/restore individual tables while manupulating Reports, but wou will need SQL experties for this.

I saw another thread that describes downloading a toolset that allows all of the SIM configuration to be backed up. so then I assume you can restore it to another location
