[SIM 6.1] HTTP 404 opening SIM logon screen

Hi all,

Sometimes (about once a day) when I open SIM instead of logon page https://...:50000/ I got HTTP 404 error. No errors on windows eventlog. I have to manually restart HP System Management Homepage service to make it work again.
Is there any log I can look for? How can I troubleshoot this problem?

I am facing this problem since from version 6.0 (now upgraded to 6.1).

I can see many errors like this in mxdomainmgr.log:

follows a long series of errors and then SIM restarts.

Really no one has any idea about this issue? My SIM is down once a day without a reason. Fresh 6.0 SIM installation on a fresh Windows Server installation this is unacceptable imho

How can I get official support for this product?

hey, is this a remote database configuration? can you post the logs of HPSIM? do this cmd - \HP\SystemsInsightManager\lbin and type simcapture , post this log .zip file.

Database is local, SQL Server 2008 Express. simcapture.zip file is too big to attach here (5MB vs 1MB attachment limit).

Hi sam! Attached you can find simcapture.zip file. Because of dimensions and attachment limits I have splitted it into 5 parts (7-Zip). Please let me know if you have some problem while opening it.
