Hello,

I wanted to find out what is the difference between HPSIM and HP Insight control.
We are planning to upgrade our HPSIM 5.3 to the 6.1. Is there anything specific I need to worry about? I read on a few threads, that 6.1b is better for upgrade.
Also I wanted to find out if HPSIM 6.1 and ICE are supported on Virtual Machines? We are running a windows server for HPSIM..

Thanks

ICE is a collection of products of which HPSIM is one.
6.1B fixes a bug in the install / upgrade process, so you're better of getting that.
Yes HPSIM 6.1 is supported on virtual machines as well as the associated Remote Support Manager Software. We're running all of our HPSIM stuff on a virtual server. As always check versions of Windows etc. supported. It's all in the Install docs.
