    <description>Yes you should find other entries in this forum about it. If you select authorization and you enter your SIM login it works for us.&lt;BR /&gt;It seems only to be a problem for the test button not really  for the event automation.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I also had success messages with fantasy logins. &lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <title>HP SIM SMTP error</title>

      <description>we have HP SIM 6.1  Build:C.06.01.00.00  installed on a Windows Server 2008 R2 system. This is a fresh install of the HP SIM software and everything works fine. Except for the Email Notification.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In the email setting menu we have configured our email server for SMTP host.  When hitting "Send test email now" we get the following error: The email could not be sent: Authentication error.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The SMTP server is configured properly and can be used to relay mail from the HP SIM host. Sending email via telnet works properly.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Anyone had the same problem? This looks like a bug to me.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Kind Regards</description>
