    <description>Hello,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i opened a case at HP because i had the problem on three servers. (2 W2K3-32 and one W2K8-64) &lt;BR /&gt;It is a known bug.&lt;BR /&gt;An update of HPSIM 6.2 hotfix 1 did not help for this issue.&lt;BR /&gt;They have no solution at this time.&lt;BR /&gt;A new version will be released sometimes in the future. (perhaps end of january).&lt;BR /&gt;My workaround was to downgrade to version 6.0 on the W2k3 servers because there even the 6.1 was crashing and a downgrade to 6.1 on the W2k8.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please notice that the VCRM 6.2 is no longer available for download.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&amp;amp;cc=US&amp;amp;swItem=MTX-b6e6bd09cc5a4432a242abb85d" target="_blank"&gt;http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&amp;amp;cc=US&amp;amp;swItem=MTX-b6e6bd09cc5a4432a242abb85d&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It is 6.1.0.841 as current version.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Leo&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <title>vcrm stops working</title>

      <description>Recently we updated our HP SIM server to version 6.2. The vcrm was also updated to 6.2.0.860&lt;BR /&gt;But the vcrm service constantly crashes with the following error in the eventlog:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Problem signature:&lt;BR /&gt;  Problem Event Name: APPCRASH&lt;BR /&gt;  Application Name: cpqsrhmo.exe&lt;BR /&gt;  Application Version: 6.2.0.860&lt;BR /&gt;  Application Timestamp: 4c8f85ad&lt;BR /&gt;  Fault Module Name: MSVCR80.dll&lt;BR /&gt;  Fault Module Version: 8.0.50727.4053&lt;BR /&gt;  Fault Module Timestamp: 4a594c79&lt;BR /&gt;  Exception Code: c0000005&lt;BR /&gt;  Exception Offset: 00014500&lt;BR /&gt;  OS Version: 6.0.6002.2.2.0.272.7&lt;BR /&gt;  Locale ID: 1043&lt;BR /&gt;  Additional Information 1: 1b83&lt;BR /&gt;  Additional Information 2: 37951a95a397b5b49cf5f8905e661aa3&lt;BR /&gt;  Additional Information 3: 83f8&lt;BR /&gt;  Additional Information 4: d88783414fe10d8777d833a656af8889&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I allready tried the following:&lt;BR /&gt;- reinstall vcrm&lt;BR /&gt;- completely wipe the repository data&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The server has worked fine before the update to SIM 6.2 (with SIM 6.0, 6.1)&lt;BR /&gt;Anyone an idea?</description>

      <description>open the support call with HP &amp;amp; provide them the vcrm logs &amp;amp; Error Dump to investigate the crash.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;crash is observed as soon as VCRM start or when doing any perticular operation?</description>

      <description>I've got the same problem, the new hotfix(Nov) didn't resolve the problem.&lt;BR /&gt;Somebody any other ideas?</description>
