"The page cannot be displayed" when i startup SIM

I an unable to start SIM - get "The page cannot be displayed"

When i manuelly type http://servername:280 i get redirected to https://servername:50000/login.jsp

But still get the "The page cannot be displayed"

I have tried uninstalled SIM, reboot and the reinstall - but same error apperes efter reinstallation.

Any suggestions?

Also triede the newest Proliant Support Paq 7.10a without any success.

Any troupleshooting steps/suggestions?

Do you think this might be a Proxy issue?
And...what encryption level is your browser set for?

Thanks for your reply, but i am not using Proxy and the encryptions is the default i windows 2003 - Anything i should check?

I get the following error in the event log:

mxdomainmgr(error): Received remote exception: Port already in use: 2367; nested exception is:
java.net.BindException: Address already in use: JVM_Bind.

i Still get: The page cannot be displayed when i start SIM

hmmm...
Are you logging in locally to SIM on the SIM server or from a different machine?
I'm sure you have verified the SIM service is running...
Have you tried logging in to the SIM server from a different machine?
Judging by your last post...it might be Java related.

I installed SIM on another server, and its working here without any problems... ;-/
