I can only guess it's somthing to do with Windows 2008 itself. Have you tried browsing to it from elsewhere?

I just can't seem to be able to resolve the certificate warning in the newer release of SIM running on Windows Server 2008 with IE8.

Anything specific about this release? this IE version?

Not that I'm aware of, where are you browsing from?
Normally you browse to the server from a workstation.
Are you trying to browse from the server itself?

Hi Ksoucy,

this generally happens when you upgrade HP SIM without backing up existing certificates and other imp stuff from OLD HP SIM.

All communication between the browser and the CMS or any managed server occurs using HTTPS over SSL.
Any navigation using HTTP (not using SSL) is automatically redirected to HTTPS.

what is the exact warraning ? HP SIM uses SSL certificate and that can be installed within windows.

thanks,
Aftab
