Hi Aleksey,

Some communication issues, could be due to firewall or additional security on client machine.

HP SIM establishes the SSL connections and server authentication is required during the initial install of PSP.
Check the page no 20 for step by step configuration in HP SIM user guide
http://bizsupport2.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c02537452/c02537452.pdf

check page no 135 for the exact issue
http://bizsupport2.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c02537452/c02537452.pdf

Hope this helps,

thanks,
Aftab

Hi Aleksey,

Hope you have followed the steps mentioned in the user guide as shared earlier while installing a PSP on a client machine.

error 5 is related to system access/rights. you do not have sufficient privileges to target machine or to repository.

You may diagonse the issue by running the manage connections on the affected server. and check the trust relation between HP SIM and Client.

hope this helps,
Thanks,
Aftab

HI,

Manage connection was one of the options in HP SIM to check the SSL connection / Trust by certification / trust relationship and other connections between managed system and HP SIM.

you may check these connections to check the communication between HP SIM and Managed system.

thanks,
Aftab
