I have installed various hp-proliant under
netware6.0 with smartstart-CD. I try to login to
the web-based management agent, but I do not have the user / password. I could not set one during
the installation (smartstart). Any suggestions?

Try going here:
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/supportpaq.html
Download the latest support pack for Netware. You should be able to run setup, configure it with new passwords and then redeploy the agents remotely. Just make sure you check the boxes to overwrite existing settings.

I'm not 100% on this, as I haven't used the Netware version of the PSP, but this is how I have cleared long forgotten passwords from Agents on Windows boxes in the past.

Try the standard user/password administrator/administrator. Then you can change your passwords at the Management Homepage.
