topic HP SIM 6.2 (Windows) AD user login problem in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

I've got a new SIM installation (6.2 on W2K8-64bit), the SIM server is in a domain I'll call "servers" which is in a one-way trust setup with the main domain that I'll call 'users'. This works just fine of lots of stuff (vCenter etc.), someone logs in using 'users\username' and the server in domain 'servers' just trusts it and it works. I can't seem to get the same working for SIM though, the service is running on a local service account - could that be the problem?

Just wondering what I've missed.

Thanks in advance.

Also, you say that the service is running under a local account? If that is the case (as far as i can remember) AD auth will not work as you need a service principlay name setup for SIM to do keberos auth witht your DC. This is explained in the security section of the documentation.
