Managing HPVM in HP SIM

Hi,

I finished to install HP SIM & VSE on HP-UX v11.31 by typing these command,
# /opt/mx/bin/mxinitconfig -a

# /opt/vse/bin/vseinitconfig -a

==> VSE Management Software 90 day trial license applied for HP Integrity and
HP 9000 systems.

==> Detecting if any existing HP Integrity/9000 license data needs to be
upgraded...

==> Do you wish to restart HP SIM now?[y/n] y
==> Stopping HP SIM now!
==> HP SIM stopped, restart may take several minutes...
==> Waiting for HP SIM to complete restart.........................................................................................................................................................
==> HP SIM started successfully!

==> Finished SUCCESSFULLY

How can access to manage the HPVM?

Which version of SIM and VSE?

Assuming the latest the next obvious step woule be to discover your VM host and VM guest through SIM and then use the Managed System Setup Wizard in SIM to get everything configured correctly.

WARNING

Before trying to do anything in SIM I would advise you to make sure you have ALL your DNS resolution working correctly... i.e. all systems - the VM hosts, the VM guests and the SIM CMS can resolve and reverse-resolve each other.
