topic Need to change SIM service account - tool? in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

Insight Control was installed under an admin account that needs to be disabled now. Is there a tool to change all the SIM services to another account?

What privs do all the SIM services need?

Do they have to be part of the Administrator Group?

Thanks, I cant seem to find this in any docs or posts already.

I have found where you can change the service account and then change/verify the user account in the database.props file within â C:\Program Files\HP\Systems Insight Manager\configâ . Look for the field â hp.Database.username=â . Change it to the same account that is used to run the â HP Systems Insight Managerâ service.
Then use â mxpassword -gâ or â mxpassword -m -x MxDBUserPassword=â <PASSWORD of="" service="" account="">â â .

However I was hoping there was a better solution for 6.x. And also looking for the required privs needed</PASSWORD>
